Songs of the American Revolution

The Hershey Community Chorus Spring Concerts will celebrate America’s 250th and feature patriotic music selections connected to the American Revolution. Recognized titles will be included along with a few ‘new’ tunes, sure to garner approval from concert goers of all ages. We will feature music sung by colonial soldiers, written by Founding Fathers and composed by signers of the Declaration of Independence. Two dates: Friday, May 1 at 7:00 pm at The Hershey Story Museum Sunday, May 3 at 3:00 pm at The Hershey Free Church (330 Hilltop Road, Hummelstown) Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students, 5 and under free. Available at the door or via email. Founded in 1934, The Hershey Community Chorus has served the greater Hershey Community with pride for the last 90+ years! Members of the Hershey Community Chorus hail from not only Hershey, but from the surrounding area as well, making this truly a Community effort. The Chorus rehearses regularly on Monday evenings 7 - 9 pm under the direction of Mr. Matt Dickinson with Karen Kline as accompanist. No auditions are held with the only requirement being a love of singing traditional choral music. For more information, please visit www.hersheycommunitychorus.org or email [email protected].
