OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) at Penn State in Harrisburg is pleased to welcome writer-director, Ty Sheetz, for a screening of his film, Lonely, an honest, heart-warming story about an 80-year-old woman who makes one last attempt to find companionship. This special presentation is part of a free, two-session learning experience led by Ted Ackryod, former PSU faculty member and developer of the LIGHT Meter Project (a strategic initiative to impact loneliness). Both sessions are designed to encourage healthy living, reduce loneliness among mature adults, and challenge participants to do good for others.
This film is recognized by AARP as a "movie for grownups." We invite you and your guests to participate in the cinematic experience and discussion.
