Inaugural MLK Day Basketball Classic at Penn State Harrisburg
Penn State Harrisburg will host its inaugural MLK Day “I Have a Dream” High School Basketball Classic on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, on campus. The event will celebrate the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. through community, competition and inspiration. The event will feature four local high school teams: Central Dauphin East vs. Northeastern High School for the girls’ game, and Gettysburg High School vs. Middletown High School for the boys’ game. Admission is free. Attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to local food banks. 3 p.m.: Girl's Game Tip-Off — Central Dauphin East vs. Northeastern High School. 5 p.m.: Boy's Game Tip-Off — Gettysburg High School vs. Middletown High School.
