Campfire Cinema
Learn the basics of camping, then settle in for an outdoor movie under the stars on Friday, June 12! Bring your blankets and chairs to join us for free family-friendly camping experience, no overnight stay required at Dauphin County Heroes Grove.
Camping demonstrations by Scouting America and Academy Sports + Outdoors will begin at 6pm. There will also be camping themed activities including a Master Gardener chat on how to avoid poisonous plants, a craft activity hosted by Lower Paxton Arts Council, and free s’mores. The camping experience will be followed by a screening of Zootopia 2 with free popcorn. Concessions will be available for purchase from the nonprofit Freedom Guard & Dance until the movie begins.
