From Irving Berlin to Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra to Lady Gaga, performers have for decades loved singing this repertoire almost as much as audiences have loved hearing it. While these songs were originally written the early-mid 20th century for Broadway and Hollywood, they have stood the test of time.
