Carlos Moseley Series featuring Wael Farouk
Egyptian-American pianist Wael Farouk has been beloved in Spartanburg for more than two decades, since he was a Master’s student of Doug Weeks at Converse. He now lives outside of New York, where he teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and uses the city as the base of a major international performing career. He commands an impossibly vast repertoire of more than 70 concertos and 60 recital programs, and performs throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. His “absolute pianistic mastery” (the Westphalen Bielefelder Zeitung) is in the service of an intense and poetic musical vision and promises an unforgettable evening.
