Are there statewide issues you care about--education, environment, election management, health care, growth management, climate change, or anything else? You can have more impact if you know how to find and follow legislation and the best way to get the attention of your legislators. This one hour webinar and following discussion is hosted by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Oconee and Pickens Counties and is free and open to the public. You will learn how to navigate the legislature's website www.scstatehouse.gov, how to follow legislation before a particular committee and testify, and the most effective ways of communicating with your senator and representatives.
