Educational Concert: Birds and Poetry
The birds discussed range from familiar backyard visitors like cardinals, crows, sparrows and hummingbirds to remarkable travelers like arctic terns and oddities like kiwis, cassowaries and blue-footed boobies. The authors of the poems range include Shakespeare, Mary Oliver, Ogden Nash, and anonymous.
Instructor: Mike and Cheryl Murphy
Instructor Bio: Mike is Emeritus Professor of English Literature, retired from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay; Cheryl is a retired nurse and harpist.
