2025 World Axe and Knife Throwing Championships

The World Axe & Knife Throwing Championships will be held at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Downtown Appleton from April 3-6, 2025! Competitors from across the United States, Canada, UK, Japan, and New Zealand will compete against each other for three days to win the top world title across five disciplines: Hatchet, Big Axe, Knife, Hatchet Duals, and Knife Duals. Come watch the top axe and knife throwers compete for the 2025 world titles here in ‘Axe’leton! When: Thursday, April 3rd - Sunday, April 6th Where: Fox Cities Exhibition Center, 355 W Lawrence St, Appleton, WI 54911 Friday and Saturday are free and open to the public to spectate and check out the vendor market. Sunday’s WAKTC Championship: Live from Appleton is free and open to the public to attend. The WAKTC vendor market will be open throughout the competition on Friday and Saturday including local vendors, businesses, craftsmen, and food. The vendor market will be located in the pre-function space in the Fox Cities Exhibition Center. 2025 WAKTC Schedule: Thursday, April 3rd - Meet & Greet: 2pm-8pm - Knife Duals- 4pm Friday, April 4th - Knife: 8:30am - Hatchet: 1:00pm Saturday, April 5th - Big Axe - 8:30am - Hatchet Duals: 2:00pm Sunday, April 6th - WAKTC Championship: Live from Appleton Finals – Time to be Announced.
