Temporary Street Closure Planned for Selma Safe Streets Pilot Study

This project will test temporary safety and traffic-calming measures to improve walking, biking, and driving conditions in your neighborhood. On this date, the intersection of Mitchell Ave & Nebraska Ave will be closed to through traffic. “Road Closed to Thru Traffic” signs and barricades will be placed on approaches to the intersection in accordance with the approved traffic control plan. Two signed detour routes will direct drivers around the closure using Rose Ave and Thompson St. Please follow all posted “Detour” and “Road Closed” signs and allow extra travel time when driving through the area. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve safety and mobility in your neighborhood.
