1. Made in Philadelphia Holiday Market at Dilworth Park
The Holiday market has returned to Dilworth park! Running from November 20th through January 1st, 2022, local artisans, designers, crafters and jewelers are able to sell and show off their holiday-inspired handmade goods! This market is FREE and hours of operation are:
Sunday - Thursday: 11am - 7pm; Friday - Saturday: 11am - 8pm; Christmas Eve: 9am - 5pm
*It is encouraged that you plan weekday visits if possible, as it gets very busy on the weekends*
2. Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration
This will be taking place on the North side of City Hall at 7pm on Thursday, December 2nd. A Ferris Wheel, a kids train and local business stands will be set up in Dilworth park for those who attend the celebration. A live performance from Disney's a cappella group, 'DCappella', will also take place.
3. Visit Philadelphia Holiday Parade
Starting at 5pm on Saturday, December 4th, the parade will head up Market street and highlight the holidays that are celebrated throughout Philadelphia that includes Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas and Chinese New Year. Starting on Second and Market, the parade will head west to City Hall and will feature floats with lights, balloons and a marching band. Local arts groups, cultural organizations, and other neighborhood-based groups will also take part in the parade.
4. Running of the Santas
Philadelphia's longest running & best Santa Crawl is back - and this year the festivities take place at the Xfinity Live! entertainment complex on Saturday, December 4th from 1pm - 9pm. Join us for an incredible day of fun including great live bands & entertainment all day & night, great drink specials, a short "run" and many friendly Santa's to party with!
At 4pm, we will assemble everyone outside of Xfinity Live! for a quick run / jog / walk to NRG station and back to Xfinity Live! (Just 2 blocks - but let's make it FUN for cameras & video)!
