Rock for Ruidoso Returns: Benefit Concert Unites Nine Bands to Support Flood Victims
Rock for Ruidoso is back and louder than ever. The second benefit concert will take place on Saturday, August 16th at The Rock House in El Paso, with doors opening at 3 PM and music kicking off at 4 PM till close at 2 AM. This year’s high-energy lineup of nine powerhouse bands will come together for one purpose: to raise critical funds for those impacted by the recent devastating floods in the Ruidoso area.
Co-headlining the event is Deadly Virtues, all the way from Phoenix, bringing their signature metalcore, prog metal and death metal sound to the Borderland. They’ll be joined by co-headliners Hobos, featuring members of legendary metal outfit Pissing Razors, along with an impressive lineup of local and regional talent including Ness Daniels, Funeral Joke, Cicada Dialect, Epitaphromance, The Mighty Demolitious, Jane Like Fire, and The Little Lobos.
“This concert is not only about the music—it’s about our community,” said event organizers. “We’re proud to see so many artists stepping up to support Ruidoso families and businesses recovering from this natural disaster.”
Tickets will only be available at the door for $10, with all proceeds going directly to flood relief efforts in Ruidoso. Food, drinks, and merchandise will also be available, with a portion of all sales contributing to the cause. 18 and over with ID.
