History Edit-A-Thon
This DIGIE collection is available through large 3D touch screens at the El Paso Museum of History as well as online through digie.org. DIGIE is a resource for educators, scholars, and history enthusiasts seeking out primary sources that tell the story of El Pasoans. We encourage the public to contribute their own images and stories in order to further deepen and enrich the history of our region.
During this event, we are inviting the public to help us edit and add new entries to DIGIE utilizing our research library. We are specifically focused on adding and editing entries pertaining to Black history, Chicano history, and women’s history. Participants will help add descriptions to existing entries.
Coffee and pastries will be provided, and participants will also receive a complimentary yearlong museum membership for their participation!
