Clay It Forward: Annual Potters Market Turns 50 With Its Biggest Sale Yet


The Annual Potters Market will return Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 4 through 7 at the Southfield Pavilion, marking its 50th year and 48th sale. The event features more than 100 ceramic artists and attracts upward of 8,000 shoppers each year, making it one of the largest pottery sales in the entire country. The Potters donate their wares to a charity table, and all sales benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind. Trainee dogs will attend the show throughout the weekend. The event opens Thursday, Dec. 4, with a preview night from 6 to 9 p.m. Admission is $10, Admission is free Friday through Sunday. Parking is free throughout the event.
