The Faces of COTS Autumn Brunch
Attendees will enjoy an afternoon connecting with other changemakers dedicated to uplifting the community, including Detroit City Council President Mary Sheffield. Live entertainment will be provided by Wil Pruitt and the Ritual Suns, and a fashion show featuring six women, who went through COTS’ Passport to Self Sufficiency coaching, wearing the latest fall trends and classics courtesy of Roloni’s Boutique, a private boutique in Redford. Since its inception in 2010, the Leading Ladies event – founded by COTS in partnership with former First Lady of Detroit, Yvette Bing – has raised more than $1 million, empowering women and families across the city.
Like last year, the brunch aims to expand its reach by inviting both women and men to join the movement, amplifying the collective power to spark positive change for the next generation.
General Admission tickets for “The Faces of COTS Autumn Brunch” are $100 per person. Champion Admission tickets, which include a special gift, are available for $150. Ticket can be purchased in advance online. All proceeds benefit COTS and its mission to eliminate homelessness and create opportunities for family stability.
In 2023, COTS supported 414 families, totaling 1,101 individuals, with about 60% being children. The organization provided over 3,000 hours of childcare, served 50,000 meals and, through its Passport to Self-Sufficiency™ framework, empowered 238 adults.
