Wayne County invites you to attend animal welfare workshops this fall, brought to you by Michigan Pet Alliance.

In the “Animal Handling and Capture for Professionals” workshop, learn to reimagine tools and to implement techniques to perform in a safe, effective and humane manner, regardless of animal disposition, that reduce stress and fear. Suitable for both in-field and in-shelter staff.

In the morning session, learn more about how best to document and report animal cruelty and neglect, while the afternoon session covers advanced investigation procedures for professionals, including comprehensive procedures, evidence collection and search warrants.
