Jarc Annual Fundraiser 2025 at Michigan Central with Comedian Alex Edelman
Jarc, a non-sectarian nonprofit agency serving adults with developmental disabilities in metro Detroit, is celebrating their fall fundraising campaign with their Annual Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 12, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Michigan Central (2001 15th St, Detroit, Mich. 48216) which will feature a special performance by one of the most critically hailed comedians of his generation, Alex Edelman. The comedian is best known for solo shows that blur the line between his stand-up comedy roots and narrative-driven storytelling. His last offering, JUST FOR US, played more than 500 performances all over the world, including on Broadway before premiering as an HBO original comedy special in April 2024 earning him a place on the Time Magazine list, a Tony Award, and an Emmy award. Jarc’s annual fundraising event is a celebration of the ongoing fall fundraising campaign as the nonprofit looks to raise $1.2 million in funds to support the important programs and services they provide to enrich the lives of people with developmental disabilities they serve. The evening event will begin with dinner at 6 p.m. followed at 7 p.m. by an hour-long performance by Edelman. Dessert will then wrap up a fun night of fundraising.
