Easterseals MORC's 9th Annual Cheers Gala
Easterseals MORC will once again host its annual Cheers Gala, sponsored by Acrisure, at M1 Concourse in Pontiac on Friday, Dec. 6 from 7 to 10 p.m. The holiday-themed event brings together individuals Easterseals MORC serves, donors and the community to celebrate accomplishments of the past year and raise funds to support the future of the organization’s mission.
The theme of this year’s Cheers Gala is “Celebrating Innovation,” which falls in line with Easterseals MORC’s expansive, state-of-the-art Autism Comprehensive Care Center currently under construction in Waterford. With 50,000 individuals in Michigan who live with autism, the center aims to close the gap of autism care in a big way by expanding available programs for individuals with autism and their families.
“We are constantly reimagining and enhancing our services to meet the evolving needs of the community and our new Autism Comprehensive Care Center is a perfect example of that commitment,” said Brent Wirth, president and CEO of Easterseals MORC. “The latest evidence-based practices are seamlessly baked into the design of this new center to provide top-notch services and life-changing programs to thousands more Michiganders. We’re grateful for our donors whose unwavering support has brought this vision to life.”
General admission tickets to the Cheers Gala are $150. All proceeds will support Easterseals MORC, and attendees will enjoy bourbon and tequila tastings, a strolling dinner, casino games, slot machines, a silent auction, live entertainment and a nighttime drone show. Easterseals MORC will also present a video on the Autism Comprehensive Care Center and the impact it will have in Michigan. The dress code for this event is smart casual.
