Michigan Shakespeare Festival 2025 Season

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival proudly celebrates its 30th Anniversary Season at the Hilberry Gateway at Wayne State University! Join us this summer, July 1 - August 10, 2025, for a season of professional classical theatre in the heart of Midtown Detroit. Our 2025 lineup includes Richard III, starring MSF alum and Detroit native Rico Bruce Wade, and the ever-charming Much Ado About Nothing, both directed by the festival's Producing Artistic Director Janice L Blixt. Rounding out the season is the world premiere of The Beaux' Stratagem: A Comedy of Bad Manners, a sharp, fast-paced new adaptation of George Farquhar's 1707 comedy, adapted and directed by MSF Artistic Associate Robert Kauzlaric. We're thrilled to bring this exciting season to the state-of-the-art Hilberry Gateway in partnership with Wayne State University. Join us as we honor three decades of extraordinary storytelling, right in Midtown Detroit. Tickets are on sale now at the Hilberry Gateway Box Office, by phone at 313-577-2972, by email, or online at MichiganShakespeareFestival.com. Discounts are available for seniors, students, teachers, veterans, nurses, firefighters, and groups of six or more. Check out the full calendar of events, Post-Show Q and A's, famous Bard Talks, and more ways to make the most of your time at the Official Shakespeare Festival of the State of Michigan at: https://www.michiganshakespearefestival.com/copy-of-calendar.
