Free “Back to Work: A Guide for Retirees” 3-Part Program Starting Jan. 29
Gesher Human Services is launching a new free program for retirees to not only help them find their passion in identifying potential career paths, but also to help manage their finances and navigate modern job search processes, including the use of AI. More and more seniors are deciding to delay retirement or even "unretire" by rejoining the workforce after initially retiring. Tapping into this need for employment guidance for mature adults, Gesher’s Back to Work: A Guide for Retirees offers three 90-minute classes on Jan. 29, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12 from 1-2:30 p.m. at its headquarters in Southfield (29699 Southfield Road) and is designed to empower retirees seeking to re-enter the workforce. The three parts of the program include: Part 1: Finding Your Passion; Part 2: Budgeting for Your Future; and Part 3: Understanding the Job Search. Registration is at geshermi.org/events.
