Perfect for children aged 7 and under, this weekly event features engaging children’s books read by our education team, paired with a fun, interactive activity inspired by the story. Each month highlights a new book, blending the magic of storytelling with hands-on experiences that encourage creativity, curiosity, and a connection to the natural world. Every session offers a unique opportunity for little ones to learn, laugh, and grow from crafting to exploring.

Featured Book of the Month: The Busy Tree
Spectacular illustrations rendered in oil painting and a rhyming text that describes a tree’s activities, from its roots to its branches, introduce young readers to the amazing activities that go on in a tree. Acorns nibbled by chipmunks, ants scurrying across a trunk, a spider spinning a web, leaves “breathing out air for all to breathe in” – everything adds up to a “busy tree” for all to “come and see.”
