All Things Detroit Day brings 200 local makers and entrepreneurs face-to-face with the shoppers from across the region.
Each year, Crawford-Williams gives the event a fresh look and theme. This Spring, she’s taking us all back in time to prove “The More You Know, The More You Shop Small.” Discover new brands and grab your favorite Detroit-made products April 12 as Crawford-Williams gathers the community to create a most memorable day in Detroit.
All Things Detroit Day an ideal chance to shop small for everything from original art to handmade goods, inventive food and drinks and home and garden goods. A few to look out for include:
• Grab a little treat from newcomer Simply Brittany Sweets from colorful Superman cookies to decadent Banana Pudding Cupcakes.
• See how Reseatables gives new life to automobile parts by creating one-of-a-kind sofas and chairs fit for the Motor City.
• Embrace a handmade craft from Jan’s Pottery, Knotty Macrame Co. or Neferene’s Comic Brick Build. Grab a custom kit by Paint.Build.Create.
• Sip something new as Dirty Mitten Fizz mix up creative sodas for the first time at All Things Detroit.
• Stop by the interactive coloring station and join the scavenger hunt, hosted by The Coloring Museum.
• Pet or adopt a new four-legged friend from Detroit Dog Rescue.
Beat the Crowd Tickets, $15, are on sale now and general admission tickets, $7, will be available at the door beginning at noon on April 12.
