Opening Preview Party for “Eventually Everything Connects: Mid-Century Modern Design in the US”
🛋️ The exhibition is a large-scale survey of one of the most important and persistent movements of modern design in the United States in the twentieth century shines a light on Cranbrook’s pivotal role in its development and the contributions of additional women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and designers of color during this period.
🪑 Nearly 200 works and over 80 artists, designers, and architects are featured in this exhibition. A number of the works have been recently acquired by Cranbrook Art Museum for its permanent collection.
