Neha Vedpathak in Conversation with Prudence Peiffer and Laura Mott


Join us for a Free Thursday program on Thursday, January 23 at 6:30pm featuring artist Neha Vedpathak with Prudence Peiffer, art historian, author, and Director of Content at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and Laura Mott, Chief Curator at Cranbrook Art Museum. Neha Vedpathak’s works are in multiple private and public collections including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit, MI; Art in Embassies for US Consulate, Madhya Pradesh State Art Museum, Bhopal, India; Anderson Ranch Arts Center, SnowmassVillage, CO; and Camac Art Centre, Marnay Sur Seine, France. Widely shown in the United State, Europe, India, and Singapore, she has been featured in multiple museums and institutions, including Cranbrook Art Museum, where her work is currently on view in "Subtleism: Neha Vedpathak with Agnes Martin." Prudence Peiffer, an acclaimed author and art historian, will also bring insights from her recent book, "THE SLIP: The New York City Street That Changed American Art Forever," which chronicles the influential artists of Coenties Slip, including Agnes Martin, and their impact on American art.
