'Vernal' Artist Talk
Join us for an evening of art and conversation at Buffalo Prescott. Inspired by the themes of Vernal 2026, this special program invites artists and visitors to reflect on transformation, creative growth, and the ways we support one another through the often uncertain process of becoming.
Bringing together current and former Buffalo Prescott residents alongside Detroit and international artists, Vernal explores the possibilities of the unknown and the collective awakening that can emerge through shared creative experiences. As the exhibition reminds us, growth is rarely comfortable, but we do not have to move through it alone.
The conversation will explore the artists' journeys from invitation to exhibition, how creating within the Buffalo Prescott community has influenced their practices, and the moments, challenges, and discoveries that shaped their work along the way.
The exhibition will be open for viewing from 5–8PM, with the artist talk beginning at 6PM.
