SHREK: The Musical
Based on the popular movie, SHREK: The Musical is sure to delight adults and children alike. This musical tells the tale of an ogre who finds himself a reluctant hero on a journey with a hilarious Donkey and a feisty princess who would rather not be rescued.
SHREK: The Musical has been a major production, transforming the Athens Theater into a swamp! Long-time Athens Theater Company Director Krista Manfredi shared, “It was great working with all of the cast and crew, but especially my seniors, as this is their last musical.”
Showtimes are Friday and Saturday, November 15, 16, 22, and 23 at 8:00 p.m., with matinees on November 16, 17, and 24 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and TSD employees, and $5 for seniors and special patrons.
