Adopt a Family for Christmas Program – Metro Detroit

Volunteers of America Michigan (VOAMI) is coordinating their annual Adopt a Family program and is asking the metro Detroit community to help support their neighbors in need by purchasing and delivering holiday gifts to families to help ease their stress and bring joy during this holiday season. The families to be adopted have applied through Volunteers of America Michigan to be a part of this program and community members willing to adopt can read family stories and see gift wish lists in this easy-to-adopt online program. The deadline to adopt a family is December 11, and all gifts must be distributed by December 21. Those who purchase gifts must deliver their gifts directly to the family they adopt, so the program is only open to residents of metro Detroit.
