The classes range from Antiques (vehicles produced from the beginning of motor vehicles through 1927) to Early Collectibles (1928-1942), Atomic Age Collectibles (1946-1957), Space Age Collectibles (1958-1969), Preservation (unaltered survivors before 1974), Classics (1915-1948), Exotics, American Muscle (up to 1973), Motorcycles, Station Wagons (up to 1984), the Porsche 911 (60th Anniversary), and Volkswagen (1949-1981 in America). Driven by a Greater Purpose Beyond showcasing awe-inspiring vehicles, the 2024 Des Moines Concours d’Elegance serves a deeper purpose. Proceeds from the event will benefit Children’s Cancer Connection (CCC), an organization dedicated to supporting Iowa families impacted by childhood cancer. Through generous fundraising and donor efforts, CCC provides educational resources, support outings, camp programs, events, and other outreach to more than 760 Iowa families at no cost to them. By attending and participating in this event, attendees contribute to a cause that truly matters.
