Join us for an engaging evening as Iowa PBS presents Community Conversations With Iowa Life, a special event celebrating the upcoming new season of the human interest show, Iowa Life. This event will feature an inspiring panel discussion with five remarkable individuals who significantly impact their communities and were featured in the first season of the show. Guests are invited to arrive at 6 p.m. for appetizers and refreshments, and to network with other attendees. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., a discussion will be led by the newly named host of Iowa Life, Charity Nebbe, and the following panelists: Dasia Taylor, young inventor and STEM advocate Gabi Torres, artist and creative placemaker Dana James, founder and publisher of Black Iowa News Kevin Mason, professor at Waldorf University and creator of Notes on Iowa Nathan Beacom, executive director of the Lyceum Movement Iowa Life shines a spotlight on the extraordinary individuals who make a significant impact within their communities across Iowa. By sharing these inspiring stories, the show aims to foster a deeper connection among Iowans, celebrate the diversity and resilience of the state's residents, and highlight the positive contributions that shape the fabric of Iowa's society.
