In collaboration with Baz Luhrmann, the director of the previous motion picture produced in 2001, Moulin Rouge is a Broadway version of the said movie. Revolving around Christian and Satine and their tragic love, the narrative is produced with a colorfully made set fit for its late 1900s time period, while updating its musical score to not only include the songs made famous by the 2001 film, but also mash-ups and medleys of new songs that were not available when the original movie was produced.
