Holiday Hits for the Nice List presented by Golden Eagle Concert Band featuring SANTA CLAUS!
The Golden Eagle Concert Band, under the direction of Principal Conductor, Ilse Reardon, will offer two Holiday concert opportunities. Holiday Hits for the Nice List will be presented on two dates- Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:00pm at St. Philip Lutheran Church, located at 7531 S Kendall Boulevard in Littleton, and also on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Wheat Ridge United Methodist Church at 7530 W 38th Avenue in Wheat Ridge. Admission is free to the community; a suggested donation of $10 per person is appreciated at each concert location.
Since ushering in a new chapter earlier this year, the Golden Eagle Concert Band has experienced a revitalizing shift in both spirit and sound. With a renewed focus on community connection, artistic excellence, and camaraderie among its 60 talented volunteer musicians, the band has re-energized its mission to bring high-quality live music to audiences across the Denver metro area. “The band has never sounded better, and the atmosphere is electric,” said Sandi Bostwick, President of the Board of Directors. “We’ve built an environment where musicians feel inspired, appreciated, and excited to perform, and our audiences can feel that energy in every note.” The concerts will feature a delightful mix of classic carols, jazzy favorites, and heartwarming medleys, perfect for all ages. Highlights include Sleigh Ride, A Christmas sing-along, The Night Before Christmas, The Polar Express, and Selections from Home Alone.
The Golden Eagle Concert Band (GECB) is a volunteer community band, consisting of all ages and backgrounds. The GECB is active throughout the Denver metropolitan area and Colorado. Entertaining audiences since 1977, the group celebrates the tradition of the American Concert Band while incorporating more contemporary works from popular culture and more. The GECB plays concerts for the general public, nursing homes, hospitals, festivals, 4th of July celebrations, churches, and private organizations.
