The Tribute Honors Fallen Heroes and Gold Star Families
The public is invited to honor the sacrifice of fallen military heroes and support Gold Star Families in attendance at the Veterans Memorial Day Tribute (The Tribute) on Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. - noon.
The Tribute is a ceremony of honor and patriotism, which remembers Colorado servicemen and women who gave their lives in military service and those on active duty that lost a battle with post-traumatic stress. This year, the Tribute recognizes "America 250", the 250th Anniversary of our Nation and the military members who have served and sacrificed their lives since the Revolutionary War.
This longtime ceremony features a visual display and biographies of fallen heroes, reading of fallen hero names, wreath ceremony, musical elements and a remembrance gift for Gold Star families. This is the 27th year of The Tribute.
The event is free and open to the public and will be held at Southwest Community Church, 4001 S Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton.
