Colorado Pint Day at LUKI
It's the 10th Anniversary!
At LUKI, buy any beer and for only $3 upgrade to the limited edition keepsake. Glasses will be available to purchase without a beer for $7. First 100 glasses sold gets you a free sticker! As usual, this is limited edition and tends to sell out quickly even at two per customer. So come by early and be sure to get your glass! We'll be open special at Noon with El Mal Del Puerco on hand with some yummy bites!
$1 of each pint glass sold will be donated to the Colorado Brewers Guild and its mission to promote, protect and propel independent craft breweries in the State of Craft Beer. Every year Colorado Pint Day is held on a Wednesday in the spring. While the event is a fundraiser for the Colorado Brewers Guild, we also hope to encourage beer lovers to visit breweries on a day of the week that is traditionally slower, hence a Wednesday.
This year’s theme for Colorado Pint Day is Beer is for Everyone! From the artist, Leanne Bridie:
"It is not so strange to represent people with animals.
From folklore, to mythology, religion and astrology, we’ve been connecting with animals since the dawn of time. We find kindred spirits in animals. We’re told we have the social values of a wolf, the sleep patterns of a bear, that we’re water signs, and have tokens and charms in nature. We respect animals as if they’re friends. It’s something most of us can agree on; in a time when agreement can be especially challenging.
The things we can universally find commonality in can be difficult. Beer can serve as a mode of connection, difference in taste, celebration, respect, and enjoyment — just like our love and appreciation for animals.
In true Colorado form, this concept includes a wolf, Blucifer the horse, a bass, and a goose; all donned in common Colorado-Starter-Pack attire.
Ironically, beer is not for animals. Please don’t give beer to animals."
