Connie Masson is a retired educator who also worked in business and industry as a presenter and trainer on the use of technology in schools, businesses, and daily life. She became a Doctor of Vocational Education and Business in 1981 during the very beginning of word processing and office automation – technology that is now a part of our everyday lives.
Connie is a member of the Louisville, Indian Peaks Chapter, National Society Daughters of America Revolution, Colorado State Society, NSDAR, Cameo Club, Evergreen, Rocky Mountain Crest Chapter, United States Daughter of the War of 1812 and Longmont Genealogy Society.
Connie Masson shares her father’s powerful WWII diaries, written between ages 19 and 21 while serving in the Army Air Forces. Hear his firsthand account of parachuting from a plane (“hitting the silk”), encounters with a German troop train, time in the brig, and eventual rescue by Russian forces. A gripping story of survival, courage, and unexpected twists behind enemy lines.
