Join case managers from the local Area Agency on Aging to learn about the Veteran Directed Care program. The Veterans Health Administration gives eligible Veterans a flexible budget to pay caregivers of their choice to help with activities like bathing, getting dressed, cooking, and cleaning. Caregivers are often a spouse or family members already helping the Veteran with these activities of daily living. Case managers will explain eligibility and more.
