The Counselor‐in‐Training program gives teens ages 13–15 a supportive first step from camper to future staff member, helping them build real-world skills like communication, teamwork, and leadership.
After two weeks of hands-on training at the Lakewood Link Recreation Center, participants choose three weeks of field experience at Lakewood’s summer camps, with opportunities to continue into youth leadership programs upon successful completion.
