About Damien Jurado:
Damien Jurado’s work walks the line between whisper-and-roar: from down-home acoustic confessionals to subtly lush indie arrangements, he creates songs that feel lived in, intimate and wide open all at once. With more than two decades of records behind him, Jurado remains one of the most quietly powerful songwriters working today.
About St. Yuma:
St. Yuma got its start in 2015 in Seattle, WA. It has served as the writing project for Stevan Alva, the California native. After a long stint in Texas, Stevan returned to Washington in the spring of 2022. Following the release of Country Sleight of Hand (recorded at the Unknown in Anacortes, WA) in 2024, a new album is set to be released in March of 2026, St. Yuma’s most ambitious record yet. Influenced by artists such as Damien Jurado, Califone, Silver Jews, and Wilco, St. Yuma's sound is a blend of various genres and will continue to evolve, always aiming to capture raw emotion.
