Phil Rader, Lydia Farrell, David Clark, and Janine Thornton

Phil Rader: UNFINISHED Come see my new paintings & tell me if you think they are finished or not! Lydia Farrell: Spam Calls From The Abyss I don’t like making shows about just one topic. When I make a painting, I feel like anything can potentially be a subject: Being trans, acknowledging mystery, sobriety, politics, even pop culture. In these dark times I think it is important to sometimes be direct (especially when it comes to politics). Personally, though, I don’t like making things that are just a quick execution of my first idea. I like making work where I have a conversation with the piece. But if I put in something political, I want it to be direct and painterly. David Clark New work. Janine Thornton: Women’s Rights Our country is undergoing a tumultuous time with the current political regime. As part of this turmoil, women’s rights are being eroded and, in many areas, completely obliterated. This show is a protest that asks whether this is what you really want for future generations. 6501 W. Colfax Ave, Lakewood, CO 80214 Gallery Hours: Friday: 6-9pm Saturday & Sunday: 12-5pm Private viewings are available by appointment. Visit www.edgeart.org for more information.
