“Was Castlewood Dam a development scheme?” Find out on Thurs. April 10, 2025, when local storyteller, Ron Claussen talks about the history of Castlewood Canyon Dam. The story of what happened after Castlewood Dam failed has been told many times, but what about before it failed? Court documents date back to 1883. Why was it built? Why was it named Castlewood?
