Tits & Giggles: A Comedy and Burlesque Benefit for Creepatorium
Join us on December 5th, 2024, for Tits & Giggles, a wildly entertaining comedy and burlesque mashup benefiting Creepatorium! Hosted by Alabaster and Chris Wellman, this show make two worlds collide, with burlesque and comedy in one show! And the twist? All performers will be trying their hand and BOTH art forms to raise funds for Denver’s beloved Creepatorium, helping them finish their buildout and finally get the city off their backs. Getting licenses and permits and paperwork shit in order is no laughing matter, but this show will be!
And yes you read that right—everyone strips, and everyone tells jokes! In the first half, all performers will stick to their wheelhouse. Burlesquers will be burlesque-ing and comedians will be funny as hell. But in the second half, it’s time to let all hell break loose as they switch roles. Watch burlesque artists try their hand at stand-up, and comedians take it all off in their first-ever striptease! It's messy, hilarious, and totally unpredictable—because no one’s expected to be good at it. Due to the aforementioned pending licenses, alcoholic beverages can be enjoyed at Brutal Poodle across the parking lot before the show, during intermission, and late into the evening after!
80% of the profits and all tips will go directly to Creepatorium, helping them complete their construction buildout to make their space fully ADA accessible and secure all the licenses they need. The remaining 20% of the door profits will be split among the performers, crew, and kittens—though anyone can choose to donate their share to the cause.
