Jeff Fierberg captures food and cultural markets across the world in Month of Photography Exhibition Over one year, Fierberg traversed England, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Mexico, Spain, South Korea and Vietnam, capturing daily life in wet markets, tianguis, hill markets, and other cultural epicenters to explore a disappearing yet vital thread in the fabric of our shared humanity. He documents still moments within these living, breathing “organisms”, pulsing with commotion and life-affirming energy. The markets are not just places of trade but are sacred spaces where the stories of food, culture, and community are both lived and preserved.
