Heritage Fine Arts Guild Presents: Collage Design Workshop with Amelia Furman
The Heritage Fine Arts Guild invites artists and creatives of all levels to join us for an inspiring, hands-on workshop led by acclaimed Colorado artist Amelia Furman.
In this beginner-friendly Collage Design Workshop, participants will explore the art of analog collage, learning to hand-cut and layer magazine imagery, decorative papers, and embellishments to create a unique narrative scene on an 8x10 canvas panel. Amelia will guide students through the Elements and Principles of Design, sharing techniques for strong composition, creative layering, and proper adhesion for lasting artwork. The workshop includes instruction on cutting, compositional design, and creative embellishment. All students will leave with a finished collage piece and the skills to continue creating at home.
