Yoga For Grief


Everyone experiences grief in one form or another over the course of their lives. While we most often think about grief as it relates to the death of a significant individual, grief can occur after ANY major life change, whether it's something you've asked for or not. Divorce, job loss, a move of any kind, the loss of a beloved pet and many other common life events can elicit feelings of grief. So, what does yoga have to do with grief? A LOT, as it turns out! In this 90 minute session, you'll experience some of the many ways that yoga can have a positive impact on your experience with grief, from the physical movements that can unlock muscular tension to the ways that mindfulness can help tame our negative thought patterns. The session will end with a calming guided meditation that will leave you feeling a sense of peace.
