The Stewpot’s Love Your Neighbor Week
The Stewpot invites the Dallas community to serve during Love Your Neighbor Week, April 19–25, 2026, a citywide initiative offering more than 650 volunteer opportunities in support of neighbors experiencing homelessness and poverty.
Volunteer activities will take place at multiple locations, including The Stewpot, The Bridge Homeless Recovery Center, and First Presbyterian Church of Dallas along with additional sites across the city. Opportunities include serving meals, assisting guests in the food pantry, supporting Streetside Showers outreach, assembling snack bags and hygiene kits, and helping maintain The Stewpot campus.
Special events throughout the week include a Neighbor Talent Show on April 23, following Streetside Showers, where neighbors share music, art and storytelling, and an All Ages Volunteer Day on April 25 from 9:30 a.m.–12 p.m., designed for families to serve together.
Participation is free, and volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and group sizes are welcome. Registration is required at thestewpot.org/love-your-neighbor-week-2026.
