2024 Plano Holiday Parade

The parade will return to Downtown Plano on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024 beginning at 2 pm. The Plano Holiday Parade is organized by the Rotary Clubs of Plano, and we’re looking forward to spreading festive holiday cheer to all our neighbors in Plano! Even more exciting, Olympic Gold Medal gymnast and Plano resident Hezly Rivera will make a special appearance in the parade as our Holiday Spirit Ambassador. At the age of 16, Hezly represented the United States this summer at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. Not only was she the youngest member of the gold medal-winning team, but she was the youngest athlete across the entire U.S delegation.  All Planoites are invited to come out and cheer on Plano’s high school marching bands, drill teams and color guards performing in the parade alongside festive floats from local businesses, nonprofit organizations and clubs. Topping off the magical afternoon will be an appearance from Santa. The theme of the parade this year is “Candy Wonderland.” The parade will begin at 2:00 p.m. It will start in Downtown Plano on 19th Street at M Avenue, head west on 19th Street, turn south on K Avenue, east on 15th Street, north on M Avenue, and end at 18th Street. The public can find information on registering a float and attending the parade at rotaryparadesofplano.com. Sponsorship opportunities are also available at the website. Please visit https://visitdowntownplano.com/contact/ to find information on public parking. In the event that the parade is canceled due to inclement weather, that information will be posted on the morning of Dec. 14 at facebook.com/planoholidayparades and instagram.com/planoholidayparades
