Ochre House Theater presents IMMOVABLE BEAST

Next up in the Ochre House Theater’s 2025-26 Season is IMMOVABLE BEAST, a retelling of MOVING CREATURES written and directed by Matthew Posey, a politically charged Satire about an evil and intolerable Oligarch, Baron Leopold McDoogal and his tyrannical rise to power. The Baron is a soured, bloated old Goat who lords over a once rich and beautiful region that is now a wasteland, due to the Baron’s greediness. People suffer, and their lives have become intolerable under the reckless hand of this Narcissistic Ruler. IMMOVABLE BEAST is a wild ride that shows “no mercy” to the Tyrannical and reminds us of the frailty of Human Nature. “The death of human empathy is one of the earliest and most telling signs of a culture about to fall into barbarism.” -Hannah Arendt PERFORMANCE DATES: MAY 13-30, 2026/WED-SAT/ DOORS OPEN @ 7:45P/CURTAIN @ 8:15P/ DONATE-WHAT-YOU-CAN MONDAY: MAY 18 @ 8:15P/ASL Performance - TBD ***Covid vaccines and/or Covid testing recommended.
