Aviation Discovery Fest

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) will host Aviation Discovery Fest 2026 at Dallas Executive Airport on November 6-7, bringing together historic military aircraft, aviation exhibits, educational activities, and family-friendly attractions for visitors of all ages. The annual event offers a unique opportunity to experience aviation history beyond the museum setting. Visitors can tour historic aircraft, meet pilots and restoration volunteers, enjoy living history demonstrations, participate in hands-on STEM activities, and purchase rides aboard select vintage aircraft. More than 20 historic aircraft are expected to attend, including: • B-29 Superfortress FIFI, one of only two flying B-29s in the world • B-24 Liberator Diamond Lil, the world’s only regularly flying B-24 • C-47 Skytrain That’s All, Brother, the aircraft that led the main airborne invasion force over Normandy on D-Day • P-51 Mustang Gunfighter • B-25 Mitchell Show Me • TBM Avenger
