The Dallas Abilities Expo is more than an event; it’s a unique celebration designed to increase independence and accessibility for people with disabilities. Whether you’re living with a disability, supporting a loved one or working in the field, this is where people come together to discover products, resources and experiences that can truly make a difference.
At the Expo, you’ll find:
> Products, services and resources to dial up their independence.
> Three cruise giveaways, one per day. Must be present to enter and win.
> All-inclusive Adaptive Climbing Wall. Come learn to scale the accessible climbing wall from Paralympian Mark Wellman.
> Right Hear for blind/low vision. We’re taking accessibility to the next level with this innovative audio navigation system that helps people with vision disabilities independently explore the show.
> The Power to Move Film Screening. This special pre-show showing this award-winning documentary is on Saturday, December 6 at 10am before the show starts.
> Adaptive sports. Try out golf, fitness, sit volleyball, wheelchair skate and more. And don’t forget to swing by the RISE Adaptive Sports Zone!
> Service dogs. Attend informative seminars to learn how these pups can empower your independence.
> Info-packed workshops. Come for answers to your questions on accessible travel, navigating healthcare hurdles, disability savings with Texas ABLE, accessible home design, fundraising for disability equipment, advocating for your child and more.
> Adaptive dance.
> American sign language interpretation.
> Free wheelchair repair.
> Complimentary loaner scooters. Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
