DALLAS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TABLE READ - "MISSED CONNECTION"
"Missed Connection" a drama screenplay by Marion Trent, won the Shorts category in the 2026 Dallas International Film Festival Screenwriting Competition. The short script follows a withdrawn artist and a reflective writer, who form an anonymous bond through sketches and Post-it notes on a cafe bulletin board. The free, public event, sponsored by Event Horizon Films, will be performed live by actors from Dallas-based Sherrill Actors Studio, followed by a Q&A.
