One of North Texas’ most beloved holiday traditions, Prairie Lights celebrates its 20th anniversary this season with a dash of extra sparkle, featuring new installations and returning favorites—plus a reimagined, extended animated tunnel, one of the park’s most popular features. Halfway through the drive, stop and explore the Holiday Village, where you can stroll through the famous Walk-Thru Forest, enjoy seasonal treats, shop for holiday gifts and décor, take a spin on carnival rides, and capture a holiday-card-worthy photo with Santa. To celebrate 20 years of twinkle, special theme nights will be held December 1–5, including Hot Cocoa Night, Giveaway Night, Mischief & Mistletoe, and Bring Your Dog Night. Prairie Lights opens Thanksgiving night and runs through New Year’s Eve, beginning at 6 p.m. nightly (last entry at 10 p.m. or when the park reaches capacity). Admission is $50 per car, with additional fees for buses and limos. Want to skip the wait? Upgrade to a Fast Pass and select your arrival time for an easy, line-free entrance.
